Travelling from Johannesburg, take the N3 south to Durban to the N2 north/south intersection and turn onto the N2 North to the Umhlanga Rocks turn off:--

Travelling from King Shaka International Airport, Leaving King Shaka International Airport, once you have exited the parking area, follow the signs to the N2 in the direction of Durban. Proceed through the toll gate (about 2km from the airport) and remain on the N2 south until the next turn off marked Umdloti where you will turn left towards the sea. Proceed for about 150m to the M4 and turn right towards Umhlanga Rocks. Remain on the M4 until the Umhlanga Rocks turn off and turn left towards the sea. Once you have turned left, you will need to immediately move over to the right hand lane to turn right at the first set of traffic lights into Ridge Road. Continue along Ridge Road for about 200m to the first cross road and turn right into Stanley Grace Crescent. This road will curve to the left and Anchor's Rest is the 4th house on the left hand side, number 14 Stanley Grace Crescent.

When you reach the junction at the top of the off ramp, keep left into Umhlanga Rocks Drive. You will go past a "McDonalds", a Shell garage and the Umhlanga Rocks Hospital on your left-hand side. You will reach a traffic circle shortly after passing the hospital. You must take the 3rd turn-off on the circle, which is the continuation of "Umhlanga Rocks Drive". You are now heading directly downhill towards the sea.

At the 3rd set of traffic lights, turn right into Ridge Road. At this set of lights you will have the Protea Hotel diagonally opposite you on the right. Once you turn right into Ridge Road, you will have various motor car show rooms on the left hand side and the Umhlanga Shopping Centre on the right hand side.

At the end of this block, there is a stop street with the "Umhlanga Veterinary clinic" diagonally opposite you. Turn right into Stanley Grace Crescent, which is clearly sign posted. The road curves to the left and we are the 4th house on the left hand side, number 14. There is a sign on a post outside the sliding gate on the grass verge, which says "Anchor's Rest B&B" so you can't miss us.
